“Ozaki Beef” refers to beef raised by Mr. Muneharu Ozaki in Miyazaki Prefecture. In Japan, he is the first person to produce and market beef using his family name.

There are two delicious points of Ozaki Beef. Firstly, feed does not contain any preservatives or artificial additives. Getting the meat to production was a continuous process of trial and error over 30 years. By using 15 kinds of original blend feed and relocating ranch 3 times to have clean natural water, the rich flavour of the lean meat was born.

Another point is the deliciousness of the marbled meat that melts in your mouth. Due to its exquisite taste, Ozaki beef is used in both old-established restaurants in Kyoto and three-stars French and Italian restaurants and is highly valued by chefs. In addition, Tiger Woods enjoyed Ozaki beef on his annual visit to Miyazaki Prefecture, leading to its praise by gourmets from around the world.

Unfortunately, due to the effort required to produce Ozaki beef, less than 30 cows are delivered per month, meaning that it is a very rare meat. Mr. Ozaki‘s vision is to return profits to Miyazaki Prefecture where he was raised, so not much Ozaki beef has been sold in Tokyo. However, we shared with Mr. Ozaki that “we want our customers in Tokyo to enjoy the Ozaki Beef as well” and he accepted our request. Thus, we are able to serve the Ozaki Beef in Tokyo today.

At our restaurants, we serve thigh and rib meat selected by Mr. Ozaki himself. Meat is always shipped from Miyazaki in the best condition so that our customers in Tokyo can enjoy the rare Ozaki beef.
